From Passive Speakers to Networked Systems
When Bowers & Wilkins was acquired by EVA Automation Inc. (a Silicon Valley Start-Up), given our extensive experience in Silicon Valley and knowledge of Premium Audio, we were engaged to lead the Technology Organization. We were ideally placed to help B&W with its transition from Passive Speakers to fully Networked Audio Systems. We led the integration of their global Acoustics, Hardware and Software Teams and the development and launch of the World-Class Audio System marketed as ‘Formation’.

In addition to leading the 'Formation' development, we steered the creation of the PX Headphones, B&W's first fully digital headphones with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). We also evolved the 700 S2 and 600 Series with significant improvement in sonic fidelity, through the use of B&W's revolutionary Continuum Cone.
